Type of a scam Advance Fee Loan

I was just trying to get a loan to catch up on some bills an replace my roof on my house, was told to send money to verify my account. They got the money but of course I didn’t. I even spoke to the guy again an he laughed an said too bad that’s how he makes his living is by ripping off people. If you can help that would be great. Dumb me was scammed more then once. Another guy took me for I believe $500, another got me with over $1500 in steam cards an right now have another one same thing. Just trying to get a loan to get ahead an they put me farther behind!
