Scam. Your registration renewals are free at WWW.Fmcsa.DOT.Gov, just fill out an MCS-150 form and submit it when you are due, there’s no “processing fees”. Also they mark up the UCR Fees For a large profit, so if you’re an interstate carrier you can register yourself at www.UCR.gov

Type of a scam Government Agency Imposter

This person contacted our place of business claiming to be with this dot alliance group and we were due for our biennial update with Fed Motor Carriers. Although, we were actually due for this update, she claimed there was a charge. There never has been a charge. These forms can be filled out online with odot and are free. When I contacted odot, they told me they never call or email. They send mail. The lady with the "alliance group" said she could make my payment by phone with our credit card. Im thankful I went with my gut instinct and did not do this.

DOT Alliance Group has called our business multiple times. We have told them over and over again not to call us back. They continue to call, so we had their number blocked. They have somehow found a way to call us again. They claim we owe them money, but won’t send us anything in writing to prove it. I have researched the forms they say we need to complete, and I have found that it can be done for free on the government website. Also, our trucks are not required to have a DOT certification.
