My elderly parents needed their roof redone as well as their metal barn roof painted. A friend recommended this contractor named Jake who gave them a good price for redoing their house roof. He couldn’t do it in time before the winter hit back in 2018, so he subcontracted it to this other contractor, Don Ryan. This guy took their money, did complete the house roof, then recommended they have their metal roof on the barn repainted. They paid upfront, he painted half of it but,never finished painting the barn roof-$2500 worth of work. All summer he gave me a song and dance about his delays personally and weather wise. Then, he never came by to finish the job and stopped answering his phone. We found he and his family had moved, but were unable to find where. He was residing in Genesee County-not sure where he is now. My advice-never pay in full before the job is done and check for a ScamPulse.com rating!
