caller asked for an individual by name that was not listed at my phone number.

when i responded that there was no one by that name at my number they proceeded to say "well maybe you can help me" and went into an explanation that they were representing disabled veterans and were seeking donations. there was a short but scripted story about "…they were there for us in need. Now we need to be there for them in their time of need."

The individual calling me asked if i would be available to receive and informational packaged going into more detail about the organization. I asked if they could email it to me.

The response was that they required a commitment before a package could be sent out and minimum commitments started at $15 dollars…

I didnt wait for any more conversation to elapse i terminated the call.
