They offered a promotion to my direct TV to add a lot more channels , plus the premium channels and other extras for 24 months for 62.50 per month – I was to pay 4 months up front and and because one of the sponsors of the price reduction was amazon – I could use my amazon prime account or get a amazon gift card and if I called back in 24 hours (and read them the number on the amazon card) I would get a $100 Visa gift card – My promotion code # DTV 0183452 had to be given to them when I called back – to 888-321-9652

I almost fell for it -then decided to call direct TV – and after a good bit of searching they said it was a scam they never ask for months up front or have asked for amazon card.
