The Company Delta Oxygen Systems ran an ad on Seattle Craigslist for a Platinum 10 Concentrator, an Oxygen Machine. My mother who has been very ill for the last 5 years is currently in need of oxygen 24 hours a day. She had been renting a machine and decided that it would be a good idea to purchase one. She is on a fixed income and every cent saved counts. The company advertised a local number and operation near ours, so she thought it would be a safe bet to buy a machine from them. When we receive the machine it was obviously used and the motor made a horrible noise. My mom, really to sick to even investigate this or complain to the company, just used the machine anyway for a couple weeks. It wasn’t until had to move her in with me to care for her, that I noticed that the machine was a damage used machine not the product they had advertised. We sent the machine back to their company and the told us that it wasnt their fault and that the would refund us the purchased price less 20% for her using it for a couple weeks. So basically they are ripping my mom, a sick senior on a fixed income off.

On their billing receipt they say that their product has a 60 day Warranty and a $20.00 restocking fee on returns. Also when you go to their website, to see what they sell, they don’t even have the machine they sold my mom listed or any other large oxygen generating machines. They also don’t seem to advertise that they sell anything used or refurbished. The Delta Technology Inc. or Delta Oxygen Systems whatever company name they are currently using are taking advantage of sick elderly people who need oxygen to survive. Im sure if my mom has been scammed way over here in Washington State, others all over the country are being ripped off as well! Shame on them!
