Type of a scam Phishing

Dealer’s Choice robocalls various cell phone numbers with a pre-recorded message alleging they have been trying to reach you concerning your vehicle’s warranty which allegedly is about to expire and this is their final attempt to reach you to extend it. They prompt you as to whether you wish to speak with a representative; upon an affirmative response, the person who speaks next asks you for your vehicle’s information, which they don’t have and are phishing to try to get in order to scam you. I’ve received such calls on July 24, September 9, and on November 14, 2019, each time with a different incoming Caller ID number being spoofed. My number is a work cell phone issued to me by the government agency by whom I am employed and is on the National Do Not Call list. Dealer’s Choice is a straight up fraud.
