Type of a scam Nigerian/Foreign Money Exchange

I was very excited to buy a corgi dog for my boyfriend for Christmas! I went online and looked everywhere and I came across the website “http://www.danielwelshcorgipuppies.com” I read the website top to bottom, by passing any grammatical errors because people can be in a rush, I get it. However, when I texted them I immediately got tons of red flags. No spacing between punctuation (it was almost as though they were using an English translator), very casual tone (not professional at all), very pushy about paying the money upfront and when I told them I don’t have a Walmart near me to do Walmart money transfer, they said I can go to MoneyGram. I asked them if they had Venmo or PayPal they dodged the question. I asked them to send me videos of the puppies, which they did. But the videos were very pixilated and the background of the puppies were different, as if the puppies lived in two different places. There were only women’s hands in the photos and he said “it was his wife” (spelling wife as “wise”) another red flag. This is when it gets tricky: he said I would be able to pay upfront and the puppy would get to me by Sunday, on my door step. However just from having common sense I know it’s not that simple. I told him there was a lot of articles of people getting scammed by his company online and he immediately began to give me attitude. Explaining how if I didn’t trust him I could pay only $300 upfront and the rest later, and I said no I can pay $50 upfront until i see the dog. Then he said I can go somewhere else if I don’t trust him. Another red flag, so I asked for a picture of the dog with a piece of paper and my name next to it. He dodged the question. Then he said “I can’t do that, seems like you’re skeptical dear” ans I explained how any other owner would be glad to do that. And he said he doesn’t like people who are skeptical of him. That’s when I knew this was a scam. So I told him how unprofessional and disheartening this situation was and how I can’t believe he can sleep at night after taking people’s hard earned cash. I reverse searched the images of the puppies and they were in fact used on many other sites, like Pinterest, Reddit and some other Russian sites. I sent it to him saying this was the saddest thing someone could do to someone else.. and no response. I think at this point I’m blocked! But please do not buy corgis online, they’ll always most likely be scam!! Thanks for coming to my ted talk ??
