I believe my business was the intended victim of a phishing or money scheme. Here is an email I received from a prospective customer/scammer: Hi ______, Thank you for your reply about my order. I want you to know that I can’t use a phone am hearing impaired you can only email or text me that is why I choose to email you. You can include the chaffing dishes, I would be expecting your message again with the total cost of my order plus tax, once I have a price I will give you my credit card details to run for my order prepaid payment to hold the date." (Sent from a Cynthia Williams [email protected]) No one prepays for an entire order. The English is bad. And "hearing impaired" is probably an excuse to avoid meeting face-to-face which is something I always do with my clients.
