I found a bengal online for $750. I inquired and "George" said he could get her to me that day (Mon Aug 17) offering free shipping. he said he wanted to fly her from el paso tx to Port Richey Fl (Tampa) and could I pay all up front so he could buy the flight instead of shipping ground. I agreed, sent money through ZElle. then 2 hours later the logistics company emailed saying I need to rent a temp controlled crate due to weather condition. 3 sizes . they said i would get my money back on the crate rental when she was delivered. They I sent money for the small on ($960 – apple pay) then they said that size was out had to go next one bigger at $1,860 or kitten would be trapped in houston for 36 hrs and could get sick. so i sent the additional $890 – apple pay) they said all good, getting on flight and would issue refund less 1% for the crate rental upon delivery. i waited up as she was supposed to arrive at 9pm. at around 9 they emailed and said I needed to purchase health insurance of $1,500 or they would not board her. then I knew it was a scam.

Next morning I called breeder and said he better fix it. then I looked him up on the TICA website which he said he had several awards from on his website. I let him know after calling the association that he was not a listed breeder. they all of them went radio silent. I was on phone with Zelle, Apple Pay, Chase, First Tech Credit union and they said they could not reverse since I authorized the payment. Here i sit with bank account drained, no kitty and feel so violated. Is there anything you know of that could get me my money back?? The financial institutions would not help.
