Type of a scam Phishing
I received a call on my home phone this morning at 10:03 am eastern standard time. The phone number they called from was 347-704-7097. The man said" This is Josh from customer service. Can you hear me?" I did respond "yes". but then realized I’ve heard something about this type of call being a scam. I then immediately hung up.
For your question below: Did the victim lose money? I chose no, but am afraid somehow they will request money.
