Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order

I recieved a priority envelope with a letter and a check for 2900.32 I was instructed to keep 290.00 for myself and deposit 1600.00 into a timothy phillips account via walmart to walmart and send in an evaluation of my experience with worker..then find a moneygram some other location to send out the remainder of money to a Timothy phillips again..??I have received another message again message saying:::Hello we have a customer service survey assighnment for you in your location. We will pay you 300.00 per assighnment which would come in the form of a cashiers check along with comprehensive details in regards to the assignment.The job Entails an Evaluation process such as Wal-mart,riteaid, walgreens e.t.c. Send information below to get started if interested. Pleas eadvice me what to do…. Thank You Deborah Jacome
