Csgolxl.com is supposedly a gambling website for Counter Strike: Global Offensive in-game items, which sometimes can be worth over $5000 per item depending on rarity. Last night i was sent $250 by a stranger to use on the site and retrieve him an in-game item worth $100, and he said the rest would be mine. i actually ended up blocking him to see what i could do with the money myself. it told me i have to deposit $5 to withdraw any in-game items from the site. i did this. it then said that their bots were busy. bots send the in-game items to your steam account. so i contacted the support staff on their site. they said because of the influx of people on their site and excess scammers, the deposit amount is bumped to $10. so, i deposited another $5 in in-game items to reach the $10 deposit minimum. then after that i tried to withdraw my items and it said all bots are busy. taking $10 of my money via CS:GO items, which i will not be able to get back as this site is a scam. i added someone from the in-site chat because he said there was something wrong with the shop, and tried to ask him if the site was legit…he added me this morning on steam and he has never even heard of the site, meaning this site is using random peoples’ names and steam profiles to act as if a lot of people use the site and make it seem safe, when it is not. i had a conversation with this person and he said that is really creepy that the site was using his profile and name even though he has never even been on the site before.
