Type of a scam Advance Fee Loan

I applied for an online loan this person called me back to inform me of a loan they said there was three options one to provide security like property or car second option they would act as a co signer third get my own co signer I chose option two they asked for $980.00 to secure loan I sent it to a person named *** *** by email transfer the loan supposed to be in my account at 4:00 pm it never arrived I called they asked me to speak to the supervisor she said the lender wanted another 980 because my credit was bad they accepted 780.00 I gave it because they sent me a guaranteed letter stating the money would be approved immediately still no money they called to say the lender wanted another 800.00 I asked for my money back they promised to transfer the money it didn’t arrive then they said it was being mailed I asked for a tracking number but they said it went by regular mail still nothing done so i realized all these lies meant it was a scam.
