Type of a scam Debt Collections

I received a call from Carrie Woods concerning Bank of America . Ms Woods claimed that the call was a pre-trial call to let me know that my x-husband and i would be charged for a fraudulent fees that were accumulated at Bank of America. She wanted me to verify my social security # and i refused to verify. She also wanted to verify a lot of information and i refused. She also said she was attempting to collect 1300.00 for Bank Of America. She got argumentive and hung up. I called Bank of America in Clayton NC and spoke to a representive by the name of Keema. she started researching and she criss crossed the number and found out that the number that was calling was from overseas. She also researched the company name and it did not exist. Keema also found out that the company Credit National Loans was a scam. She referred me to corporate and the representative also told me that it was a scam. I nor my x-husband do not have an account and the Bank of America says they do not hire other companies to do their collections. That i would receive a letter from the bank and not from a collection agency.
