I went on Craigslist to purchase Seattle Seahawks tickets, against the 49ers for the game on 9/18/17. I texted a seller on 8/30/17, who was selling tickets for $500 for two tickets. After several texts, we met in person in-front of Bothell BECU on 8/31/17 to make an exchange. He had hard tickets in hand and they were "real" tickets not counterfeit and an exchange for cash was made. On the day of the game, the tickets scanned fine at the gate, we went inside of Centurylink Stadium and made it to our seats. However, 2 other people later approached us and said they had the same seat numbers as us, which they purchased on NFL ticket exchange, Ticketmaster. We went to an usher, who lead us to customer service. They then entered the ticket account holders info (as these were from a season ticket holder) and found that this person had also sold them through Ticketmaster. The Centurylink Field staff said that this was an unusual situation as the people who scanned our tickets at the gate should have not let us in, we were then told we needed to be escorted out of the stadium and leave the property. We had several adult beverages that needed to be thrown out, which cost close to $40 as well as a loss in $50 for parking. I have the sellers cell phone number and since these tickets were transferred on NFL ticket exchange and he is a season ticket holder, the Seahawks should have his account info as well.
