Type of a scam Fake Invoice/Supplier Bill

"Summer Garcia" Collections case mgr with Corporate Distribution Center claims they have two outstanding invoices with our business (college) for two printer ink cartridges- each valued at 499.25 ea. Ink automatically comes in the lease of our equipment. We never order ink. We did not receive ink from their organization. The invoice has names of our employees, but neither are authorized or would order ink. On one invoice the invoice date is a month prior to the alleged order and delivery! The girl who calls (Summer) is very belligerent and threatening on the phone. I also caught this same organization calling my receptionist and asking questions about the model of our equipment.! Every few months it starts all over again! ugh!

Type of a scam Fake Invoice/Supplier Bill

The company called claiming to be the direct manufacturer of our toner for our printers which was on back order. He verified the printer info and our shipping address and my name for contact. I called our printer service provider a couple weeks later after receiving an outrageous invoice of $499.25 from the company, for which I did not order and no toner was ever delivered. Our service provider said that was a scam and not to send them money.

Type of a scam Fake Invoice/Supplier Bill

An invoice, for a product never ordered or received, was sent to our Corporate office stating a delivery of copier toner was delivered to one of our other locations. Our Accounts Payable department was told if they didn’t pay this invoice immediately, our company would be sent to collections.
