Type of a scam Phishing

This website claims to help Gmail users fix issues with Gmail accounts. They remote into your machine, tell you a bunch of things that are wrong with your computer and that your email has been compromised. They do this by opening up "terminal" application, but this application tells you nothing about anything wrong in your computer. They just assume the user has no idea how to read a line of code (most don’t!). Then they offer to fix everything for some fee, in my case it was 29.99.

The situation was very uncomfortable and I hung up and shut down my computer before any passwords were given. I took computer to Apple store to have all programs and malware removed that would allow access from anyone.

Make sure you are visiting a verified Google site for help with any Google products!!!
