Type of a scam Debt Collections

I received a collection call that they were bringing a court order against me to pay a bill. It was a man. He said he was with the courts. They can attack my Social Security number. He wanted me to call 844-834-1585 X 501. I called the number. A woman answered. She said we can stop him from coming out. She stated I owed $1200. I asked for this in writing before I agree. She said it will not get out there in time. He wanted a credit card number. It is one I don’t use.
