Type of a scam Debt Collections

I have a small company with 3 employees. In my absence, one of my employees received a phone call from a person posing as an employee of ConEdison. He stated that the power to my company would be turned off in less than 60 minutes if we didn’t call Richard at 800-365-6691, Extension 310. I don’t have ConEd and recently received a bill from First Energy showing my balance as of 7-25-19, was zero. The bill I received was due on 8-15-19.

I called the number and received the same story about cutting off the power. I told him I didn’t have ConEdison, and he said he meant to say Ohio Edison. I told him I didn’t have either supplier, and he promptly hung up.
