Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order

I had posted my resume on www.ziprecruiter.com to look for jobs. I had been contacted by this company to start an at home business opportunity as an administrator assistant. I wasn’t asked for any personal information and I wasn’t asked to pay any money for equipment. I was told to deposit these checks into my account and wire them to a different bank account to Wells Fargo, come to find out the checks were fraudulent and now I owe money if my personal bank cannot fix the amount of money I owe. I have been trying to contact them and see if they will pay me back for the damages they caused. To no avail I have not heard anything.
