Type of a scam Healthcare/Medicaid/Medicare

A woman called and offered supplies for pain control in the way of a TENS unit, pain lotion and supplements. Said that they would have the supplies approved by my insurance, and there would not be any out-of-pocket expense for me. We talked about my past accidents and orthopedic surgeries. I told them that if my insurance approved this supplies, then I would accept them, otherwise I wasn’t interested. They only have my medical insurance information, and have billed them. Now they continue to bill my medical insurance for more supplies and procedures. My medical insurance BCBS of LA gave me the phone number, but I can not get in touch with the company. They lead me to believe they were local, but the company with the same name in Baton Rouge told me that they were not involved with Medical supplies, and they have been getting many calls with people asking the same questions I was.

* I had a number for someone from this company, but I am a victim of the recent flood in Louisiana. All my paperwork was destroyed.
