Type of a scam Business Email Compromise
The scammer sent all the real estate agents in my office a text saying that I was in a meeting and I needed them to go on Amazon and purchase gift cards. They wanted them to scratch the number off, take a picture, and send it to them. Everyone knew it wasn’t me, and immediately called to tell me.
