Took my credit card number for home improvement repairs. Double charged my card. Didn’t do repairs. He has multiple home improvement fraud felonies pending and bad checks felonies pending.

Chris Lusso (The person who operates “Clearwater Contractors” in North Webster and Warsaw, Indiana) was hired to do home repairs. He stated he had to have my credit card number before he started the work because so many people had written him bad checks in the past. We believed him and gave him our credit card number. He charged my credit card TWICE and kept coming up with fake stories about how it happened. We demanded to get repaid the amount he double charged us on our credit card. It took him a month to write us a check to pay us back and guess what…OF COURSE HIS CHECKS TO PAY US BACK BOUNCED TWICE. In the meantime he was arrested twice for fraudulent activities for home repairs, credit card fraud, etc, and in jail. He kept promising us when he got out of jail he would pay us back. He always had excuses. We were terribly wrong to ever do business with him. After 3 months of waiting and giving him a deadline that we were going to go to thsee police, he finally paid us back yesterday. He is very unprofessional and a criminal. I have found out he has done this several times. He comes across likeable and knowledgeable about home repairs, but he really is a scam artist.
