Type of a scam Phishing

I fell for saying "Yes" to some "one question poll" that asked if I voted in last Presidential election. Upon hanging up I immediately recalled the "Can you hear me now" scam.

I am in Portland, Oregon

They called me on a phone number I do not primarily use. Former landline number that I have "parked" on a refillable cell, and I used to use it soley for vendors.
