Type of a scam Phishing
Identify themselves as a local bank or business lender but ppear to have no valid business location in Utah just an 800 number. "Brick and Mortar" address of business seems bogus since address does not indicate a direction (NORTH? or SOUTH?) for MAIN STREET in Salt Lake City, UT. Fax was sent illegally. Body of fax states, "Since we last spoke.." There was no prior contact with us. There was no legitimate reason to contact us. Simply an illegal solicitation. We responded with our own fax from our office to their 800-927-5124 number.
Our fax stated in part:
"We seek to follow legal fax guidelines and to associate with those who also comply with the law. We desire no association with you."
