Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order

A priority mail envelope addressed to me enclosed a check for $2470.47 with instructions to be a Secret Surveyor (mystery shopper). I was to purchase 4- $500. gift cards from Walmart, Walgreens, CVS and with the remainder, pay myself a commission ($450). After purchase, I was to peel the silver scratch off on card, capture image front and back without discarding them and detail my experience from the store/clerk and email completed report to: [email protected]
