Type of a scam Phishing

My computer was hacked on March 14, 2019. somehow a message was sent that they could fix my computer. They posed as Apple Service and even showed the Apple logo so I went along with them. I have an Apple MacBookPro. They said they could fix my computer if I would purchase a contract for $500 which they would reduce to $400 to engage with them because I was a Senior. I proceeded to engage them..They fix the computer. I stayed away all night because I felt something was wrong. I called Apple the next morning and they had no record of this transaction.. Furthermore, they only offer service contracts for new computers and mine is 9 years olf so they would not have made this offer.

I called American Express and that noted to dispute the bill but I should contact PayPal which I have done and am waiting on a reply. In the meantime I find out the offer was not made by Apple, it was made by a person named Christine Mickey.Please help me. I am 82 y.o. Where do I go from here?
