Type of a scam Online Purchase

I bought 3 products, a coat and 2 sweaters, online from the seller (Chic Look). A couple of weeks later, I received a package smaller than I expected. There was only 1 item in the package and it did not resemble the one purchased. It was supposed to be a coat, but what I received was a hooded blazer-like fleece sweater. Also, it was several sizes too small, although the labels read the correct size.

I emailed the seller expressing my disappointment and disillusionment. No response was made. The next day, I sent another email via a direct link. Again, no response, and to date, no response to those emails.

I contacted PayPal and set up a complaint, asking for a refund. PayPal contacted the seller, whose company name is LT Fashions Ltd. LT Fashions Ltd sent a message to me via PayPal stating that the remainder of my order was on its way, and that they’d deal with a return upon the package’s delivery to me. I hadn’t asked for the rest of the order. Nonetheless, several days later, a package arrived containing a sweater and cardigan that didn’t resemble the ones I’d ordered.

Once again, I went to PayPal’s website, left another message for the seller, which went unanswered. After giving LT Fashion Ltd a few days to respond, I resorted to ask PayPal to investigate and try to get a refund for me.

This morning, I received an email from PayPal telling me to file a police report and provide proof of the report to them, or they’d have to find in the seller’s favour. I called my local police department and started to give my story, when the officer stopped me and said that there was nothing they could do because it was a "buyer beware" situation and that I should have investigated the seller’s website before buying anything. Next, I went to the PayPal website again, where there was a message that said that they’d judged in my favour and that the next step was for me to return the merchandise and upon the seller’s receipt of it, they would refund my account.

I had asked the seller for their address so that I may return the products, but they have not responded to any of the 3 (three) times that I requested it. I left another message with PayPal to provide me with an address for the seller, but I have not heard from them yet.

Meanwhile, I have tried to find them online and have found that it indeed is a scam website with no address or if there is one, the seller will not accept returned merchandise.

This is what I have gone through for the last couple of weeks.
