On April 21st I received an email from “Lucy Ruchel” about my interest in her 2 teacup Maltese puppies. We exchanged emails for 7 days. We came upon an agreement of $1100 total via email for me to adopted 2 said puppies. I made a deposit of $500 via Zelle to her “associate in the office”Tynesha Kemp. On Sunday, April 27th, she asked for the remaining balance, I agreed to pay her $400 of the balance and the remaining $200 once they arrived, she agreed. On Monday, April 28th I followed up with her to ensure everything was ok and moving according to schedule, she agreed. She sent me and email at 1230pm CST that the puppies were dropped off with Pacific Freight a company and they would arrive at 830pm CST. When I received a suspicious email from the “freight” company, I emailed her back asking what this email was about and she told me it was standard that these agencies requested a refundable $600 crate rental. I informed her that was part of our agreement and that I refused to pay. After calling said agency, I informed them to contact Lucy Ruchel about picking up the puppies. When I called her number , her phone was disconnected. I checked the website which has also been taken down. I have not heard from this Tynesha Kemp who I believe lives in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and not in Minneapolis, Minnesota upon searching her on Facebook.
