Type of a scam Online Purchase

I sought them out on the internet to expunge a misdemeanor that I had back in 2012. I was transferred to another agent in the office which took down wrong information. They then said they were unable to locate the misdemeanor . Being that they had the wrong phone number and a completely wrong date of incident. I have called them about 20 times telling them this with no prevail. They then sent a packet for me to have finger prints done which I did and paid more money for that and sent it back. This was over 6 months ago. I have since called to inquire of this and left numerous messages and nothing. I am now looking into a local lawyer. Further more will be looking to file a claim against this attorney that takes the money and does not full fill his agreement.
