Type of a scam Charity

Received a call from the “Chattanooga Firefighters Association” stating they are looking to put on a benefit concert with Thompson Square coming to the Memorial Auditorium in December. Saying that this wasn’t a donation. I confronted him that this was a spam call and he wasn’t expecting it, asking what a spam call even is. Tried calling the number back on a different phone and it wouldn’t go through. Called the Memorial Auditorium to confirm if they were coming and they said they were, believe someone may be using this event to scam others.
