Type of a scam Credit Cards
I received a bogus letter in the mail, attempting to collect payment. This letter claims to be sent from Chase Cardmember Services. It states that my visa card payment is overdue, which it is not. I was suspicious because the letter is dated March 7, and my payment due date is not until March 16. I called Chase (the phone number on my card, not the number from the letter) and they confirmed, they did NOT send the letter. This scammer did have the last four digits of my account.
