Type of a scam Counterfeit Product

I initially purchased 3 gift cards from this company. They charged the full amount, being processed through *** ***. After about 2 minutes I received an email that they discovered one of the cards to be invalid and refunded me a dollar amount of their own choosing and never told me which card was invalid. I used one of the remaining 2 gift cards at a *** *** and they had a little issue redeeming the card but after a few minutes they were able to redeem one smoothie worth (the card was "supposed" to be worth $25 and one smoothie can be estimated at roughly $6). So there should have been a remaining balance. After a few months I then tried to use my 3rd gift card purchased for *** *** (by process of elimination I thought this was the card that was still valid). The woman at this store said the gift card had too many numbers. She attempted to contact a manager and they had no solution but to contact the company who had sold the card. I then emailed Card Flip and they said they did not have a "payment processor" at the time but would gladly give me a new card to another retailer. By this point I felt very weary of them and did not want a new card, just a refund. They said I could contact my credit card company and "dispute" the charge, of which they said they would approve the dispute. Well unrelated to the situation, my grandmother had a stroke, I lost my housing, lost my job and had to relocate.. So by the time I emailed them back months later they said it had been too long and they would not do anything to help me and that they only guarantee the cards to be valid for 6 months. The issue of that was that the *** *** card was NEVER valid. Regardless of when I contacted the company. It was’t that the funds became invalid, the funds never existed because they gave me a fraudulent product. The other issue was that the *** *** gift card’s funds were "drained" after 6 months from purchase. And *** *** said they cannot re validate funds. Though the remaining balance was never used. From what I can gather from online is that either Card Flip will provide fraudulent gift cards from the beginning, in the hopes that the purchaser does not use the card for a while (after 6 months) and when they realize there is an issue they use the 6 month rule as a smoke screen to hide behind. If they don’t give a fraudulent card from the beginning then they simply wait and any remaining balances on the cards after 6 months they must use or "re sale". I believe they are completely fraudulent and should NOT be allowed to operate. I lost over $60 in this issue but have read on other online feeds about people who have lost over $500 to them and their fraudulent practices.
