Type of a scam Credit Cards

I received a call regarding my *** car warranty expiring. The group did not give there name of the business but I inferred that they were from *** due to their knowledge of my car, warranty and approximate mileage. They used a sales technique which included not hanging up the phone due to the loss of the extended warranty. I provided my credit card information thinking that this was a trusted brand (***). It wasn’t until I received the paperwork that I was informed that this was not a *** warranty but a warranty through a group called Car Treaty. Although they promised a money back guarantee with the immediate cancellation of the policy, I reached out through every way that I could (email, mail, phone) and I could not process the cancellation to get my money back. Overall, I lost around $300.
