Robin –

Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order

They email stating they saw your resume on indeed (the job search engine), i have been applying for a few jobs over the month so it seemed reasonable. They email inquiring if I would be interested in a customer service- quality agent job. you go to stores in your area and follow the questionnaire provided and you email your answer back. The gentleman calls himself Ken Ramos, after you reply showing interest he immediately calls you from a 1(604) phone number welcoming you to the team and then emails you a job offer and the questionnaire. it seems very legit, until he begins to ask for either your drivers license, passport or sin to secure employment. They send you to a few locations and claim you will get paid $650/Canadian a week with benefits. They will ask you to go to a fast food joint and ask you to submit receipts for payment. I have heard a lot about these mystery shopper scams where they send you a cheque and you have to deposit and send half back, this "company" is different as they do not send any cheques. They ask if you have a bank account, do you have e-transfer and they ask questions like what is your max withdrawal per day and max withdrawal with the bank. RED FLAG. I later checked indeed to see if they are even there and if i even applied to such company, and found nothing. I then started asking questions that may have alerted them that i wont fall for it because they have not messaged nor called since then. They also have no website, but at the bottom of their email they claim this is their business number- Company No. 10342465
