Type of a scam Tax Collection
We received 2 recorded messages from the fake CRA: The first call was from an officer Ryan Smith who warned us of dire consequences if we or our lawyer didn’t immediately return his call at 855-204-0504. The second call came from a Mary Bridges 613-656-6045 (Ottawa) who said the RCMP were coming to my door to hand cuff me. I believe "Mary Bridges" recorded the opeing message or the real CRA’s official phone message, then spliced her own message onto it.
