I was in the process of purchasing a puppy, my radar really kicked n when the person wanted the deposit sent to a South Carolina number 803-319-7927 and they advised the puppy would be at my house tomorrow…It was 2215 hours and it was coming to an airport that doesn’t have many flights n and out.I texted the person three times and asked why am I sending the payment to South Carolina…I got firm the fourth time I asked and the person said they already answered that question and everything was under control…I took a picture of the article posted by the gentleman that lost 2200 dollars and sent it to them…Well it got quiet really fast and they never responded again…The phone numbers that were involved wer 803-319-7927 and 405-466-5796…Someone need to shut done the website that Compton Labrador farms use. Can’t be that hard to find them. Michael from Broadway VA

Type of a scam Online Purchase

Breeder advertised labrador puppies for $500 with free shipping on their website. Since, we lived in two different states the breeder asked for payment through gift cards to avoid card fraud. The breeder took care of all the arrangements for shipping the dog from Oklahoma to South Carolina. The first issue we ran into was the dog needed a different crate and vaccines in order to be flown. That was an extra cost promised to be refunded. Next, the dog required travel insurance to be flown state to state. That was promised to be refunded. Then, the dog needed city permit papers that also needed to be paid and would be refunded. Finally, the dog claimed to be in need of more vaccines because the dog fell ill and that needed to be paid. We stopped paying after the permit papers. The dog was promised to be delivered within the same day and never was delivered at all. All extra expenses were promised to be refunded once the dog was delivered. The tracking number we had stopped during the middle of the process. This was supposed to be a birthday gift for a friend that never happened. The breeder didn’t show much proof of the dog nor cared to help us. We lost money, time, and energy through them.
