I found "Bubbly CleanIng" on Groupon, of which I am a member, and I was in need of a cleaner so wanted to try them out. What a nightmare. I paid the upfront price to Groupon and was then contacted via email by "Bubbly CleanIng" to arrange a date and time. Then the "fun" began. It was all bait and switch, bait and switch after I had settled on the appointment. Then no-show when the scheduled time arrived. Repeat. Repeat. I was contacted by someone named Mustapha by text, who claimed to be with the company. He arrived, after much back and forth, with no cleaning supplies, no knowledge of our contract and no cleaning skills. When asked, he said he was from Nigeria! His English was poor. I could go on and on. It was a horrible experience, and my house, of course, never was cleaned. What I suspect is that somehow some scammers hacked into either Groupon or this company in particular, to commit a scam. Now I am fearful, because they know my address and other information. I have never had any trouble with Groupon’s offerings in the years I have been a member, until now.
