Type of a scam Online Purchase

BrotherTech IT Services calls me about every 30 days to tell me it is going to charge my credit card anywhere from $1600 to $300 for computer virus protection. I do not want this service, but in order to cancel and stop the annoying calls, the caller (Alex, Jeff, Andrew, Sam or Mike) tells me I must give him control over my computer. I have not done this and will not do this. So I am told my credit card account will be charged a significant amount. These charges have never happened and I have contacted my bank to never pay to this company. This is fraudulent. One day I was actually called 21 times when I did not answer my phone. This is a scam and I would like to know how to stop them from harassing me. Some of the phone calls originate from a Chicago area code but I am told they are in New York. What can be done? What might they do if they got control of my computer?
