Type of a scam Online Purchase

Claims to breed and sell parrots for cheap. Offered me a young male Eclectus parrot for $500 + $100 for shipping directly to my house + a free cage! If you know these birds and cost $1,000++ So this was too good to be true. He was responding to my questions quickly then offered to text me pictures. He text me through 2 days and offered I come see the birds when I told him I was skeptical. I said I had a friend in Co that would love to come and see his birds and meet him for me. He completely stopped texting me back immediately. I haven’t heard from him since. If something’s too good too be true, it probably is NOT. Feels like a total scam! Get this guy off the internet!
