Normally I am more aware as a model and an actress but these people were very legit "looking". They recruited me through instagram, sent me a legitimate contract through email (had several professionals look it over); they wanted all models to buy one of their products (a lipstick for women, skin cream for men) and then post to social media tagging @4infatuations. @4infatuations also looked legit until I later uncovered that that company could not be found online and the only form of contact was a number on their instagram. They then put me into contact with Harold Emery from MMT Casting in Atlanta area (also looked legit with LinkedIn profile, fairly weak IMDB page); they wanted me to work with him on my social media. I was grateful and needed the help. However, then Harold wanted me to pay $125/mo with a company called AOE Marketing (a shock that their website was "under repair" and further research found that they also filed a fictitious name). He said he was the mediator between me and that company. Boss Beauty "rep" was texting me that they couldn’t move forward until I worked with Harold. Harold seemed like a nice guy and he out of everyone and everything was verifiable so crossing fingers maybe he was the only legitimate one. However the boss beauty number (678) 400-9115 also linked to a scam review in a yelp post. I want to put this out there because I was not the only one involved and I have no way in reaching out to the other models. We all had a conference call to talk about ourselves and expectations and what they would be covering for us. It was really exciting but yet suspicious when most models were fairly new. It’s heartbreaking, one was transgender and one was turning 50. This "company" took advantage of people who are using their art to change the world and fashion and beauty.
