Type of a scam Employment

This is all started when I was laid off of my previous job. I began applying for jobs online using various job searching apps. One in particular, ziprecruiter is where I found this position to forward packages that came from either Bestbuy/Amazon, or eBay. I had been doing it for a month, and the reported monthly income was to be $3000. Well, the month came after I had sent out 30+ packages and I never got paid. I thought this was completely legit as they provided shipping labels, and I paid no cost out of my own pocket to ship. This has caused me to lose my apartment, and now I am homeless. This has definitely left me in quite the mess.
