Type of a scam Rental

We were given the name Andre Caldwell through a friend, we met with him and he told us he owned a real estate company called blueprint properties. We looked it up it was not listed under the BBB, but we needed a place to live at the time so we ignored that red flag. On day one he scammed us out of our rent after we paid him rent and told us it was actually deposit instead, so we had to pay an additional amount to live there. However, Ever since that moment he has scammed us out of thousands of dollars in rent, have threatened us with multiple ways including scare tactics and threats of eviction, he is also a racist and constantly threaten us because we are a interracial couple live in a predominantly African-American neighborhood. Soon we realized he doesn’t even own the company his house is supposed to be part of. He says he is the landlord of this house, however this house is condemned and is currently under inspection by the city ordinance and housing code office. Recently he scammed my husband out of $2,500 Promising to repair the house from is condemned condition, but no work has been done. There are multiple electric Outlets uncovered, there are rodents in the Attic, there is something dead in the Attic as well because we have maggots and flies constantly, the back lot is filled with junk, there are holes all over the laundry room and the ceilings and the roofs constantly leak whenever there is rain or snow, when we asked him for repairs he has never sent a real BBB company to repair anything, he did however send a drug-addicted homeless man attempting to repair a roof which is still leaking horribly so nothing has been done. After all this mistreatment, we became suspicious of this blueprint property that he is always trying to evict us under if we paid rent late by one day, so we decided to look him up and his company. And that is when we realized that his business is not registered under the ScamPulse.com nor was it ever. He is just a scam landlord trying to scam money out of student tenants.

Lastly, there is no lease. At one point we just signed a lease But the lease have already expired last July. So now the money that he’s demanding and the eviction notices and the scare tactics that he is sending is harassment. To avoid him scamming me more, I have requested him to remove my name from the "lease" (which is non-existent in the first place), but he has not done that because he wants to constantly scan me for more money for a condemned house under a fake real estate company.
