I had a company called "BlueTone" since 2011 for long distance calling. I have emails with confirmations of payments. The last several times I have been trying to get into m account but it notified me that it was ‘invalid’. I then made contact with BlueTone via chat and was informed that I do not have an account with BlueTone but that I switched to QuickCall. I did not switch to QuickCall but was switched by I don’t know who. "Robert" would not confirm that I was switched by BlueTone, so that left me a little worried because here goes my information floating around and I don’t even know it. I was then again told by someone named "Robert" that I have a new account with QuickCall. When I pressed with more questions, "but this account on Bluetone is not active long time, because I’m not able to see any recent activity". However, I told him that I have been a customer for a long time he stated "Robert:Yes you are customer since 2011". The inclusive responses leads me to believe that this company is acting indirectly and possibly opening customer accounts with other companies while exchanging personal account information without the approval of the customer or notifying the customer of the change in service. "Robert" also stated that "I can see you are using the QuickCall account", which leaves another question: how does he know that if I am not a customer of theirs?! "Robert" confirmed that I am not a customer but then he stated that he can see my account is active and is being used. I asked him to provide me with BlueTones contact information which he did not provide. He did, however request my address and billing information which I told him that I will not provide. This company appears to be acting under false pretenses.
