Type of a scam Fake Check/Money Order

I received a letter from BETHE AIRWISS, Inc. It came "Priority Mail" . Not sure how they got my name and address except maybe through Indeed job market. I have been applying for part time jobs. This is not the first fake thing I have received due to being on that network. This one sent me a check for $1,987.37. My first clue was the English they used in the letter and also asking me to keep everything confidential. The English they use is a dead give away.They do not speak the way you and I do nor do they write the way we learn proper English in the U.S. They ask that you purchase Walmart and Ebay gift cards with $1600 of the check written on Wells Fargo Bank. and keep the rest as payment for your work. If you complete the task you send in a report and they send you a bonus check. I am taking this to Wells Fargo where I bank so that they can investigate the fake check. .
