We were trying to purchase a Bengal Kitten – we found what we thought was a legit website – found it using a Google search for "Bengal Kittens for sale near me" – the website www.amazingbengalkittens.com was the one who scammed us. They promised that for a $700 fee, that shipping included (wrote that a person would deliver the cat to our home) along with a Bengal kitten, in good health and with papers. I emailed them and they texted my husband (who’s phone number I gave them)….the person asked us to use Zelle to give him $700 – to an "Alfred Cati at [email protected]). Payment was sent on 12/1 – the cat was supposed to be delivered today. Then, my husband get a text from "Alfred" that he "let the agency know" and to check his email. When he did, he got an email from a pet delivery company called Blue-Moon Pet Delivery detailing that if we didn’t pay an additional $980, that the cat would not be delivered, citing some weird "facts". The email was barely legible and clearly smelled like a scam. When we then told "Alfred" that we wouldn’t pay the fee, he basically admitted that the entire transaction was a scam and refused to refund my money. He also threatened me that he would love to "take care of (me) in person" if he lived closer.
