Type of a scam Online Purchase

My husband was looking for an enclosed trailer for our business/going out west he found this 2012 Craft Cargo Trailer on Craiglist he texted the person then gave her my email address I then got an email telling me about the trailer and that she recently lost her husband she was in the military going overseas tried to sell it to someone else the financing fell through so the trailer was now in a storage facility and that we have to work with Ebay Buyer Protection program which would allow us to see the trailer before we buy. I received the Ebay buyer protection agreement via email and they wanted me to go and get ebay cards you can put $500 on each card seemed weird I tried to call the customer service number and it rang 15x then I got hung up on. It just didin’t seem right so I pulled up the ScamPulse.com website and gosh found another person that it happened to almost the same exact emails. I have all emails if you want them. I just got another one from Barbara at 2:03 today wondering if I got the Ebay info so that we can proceed. I haven’t responded back yet. Oh my husband also was looking at another trailer in Rochester, MN the same day texted the person for pics gave him my email address but he never sent the pics. My husband went out on Craig’s List today and the trailers are no where to be found.
