I received an email today through my website contact from. I "Won" the Best of my home towns award for product excellence!

It sounds impressive, then I looked up their website. You would think that if indeed my company had won an award, they would send me some sort of certificate and maybe list me in a local newspaper.

The scam is, I can claim my award plaque, for only $149.00

I can claim a "Crystal Award" in a choice of colors for only $199.00

I can get both for $229.98! A savings of $120.00!

Seriously? Who would be stupid enough to buy their own reward?
