Type of a scam Online Purchase

I saw a product on the show Shark Tank and then saw a free sample ad on Facebook. I usually don’t go for these things. I paid the shipping charge on two items and expected samples. I received what I thought was a sample. I then noticed credit card charges. I was charged for the samples and there were charges pending for the next month. I tried called many times and could not get through. I finally talked to a very pushy rude man. He said they didn’t sell samples and I could not return what I had and tried selling me the product that was on the way for 75% less if I didn’t return it. I was getting furious. This man took ten times of asking for the address to give it to me, cancel the recurring charge, give me an RMA # to return the product I had not received and would not allow me to speak to a supervisor. He pushed me over the edge. I was rude to him. I can’t believe that a TV show is associated with such a scam. If you go online you’ll now see all the posts from people like me who have hundreds of dollars charged to their charge cards. I guess I missed something, but this is a set up. PLEASE GET IT STOPPED. How are companies allowed to do this and get advertisement from an ABC show? UNBELIEVEABLE. I’m out a few hundred dollars and the Sharks are getting richer.
